James Ferrara Appointed to the Palm Beach Circuit Bench

Shraiberg, Landau & Page, P.A. is pleased to announce that on February 15, 2017 Governor Rick Scott appointed James T. Ferrara to the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court.  Mr. Ferrara will replace Judge Moses Baker.  Mr. Ferrara has served as a shareholder of Shraiberg, Landau & Page, P.A. since 2009.  It has been a privilege and honor to have Mr. Ferrara as the firm's partner.

Phil Landau Moderating and Participating on Two Panels at the Palm Beach County Bar Association's Bench Bar Conference on March 10, 2017

Shraiberg, Landau & Page, P.A. is pleased to announce that Phil Landau will be moderating and participating on two panels of experts at the Palm Beach County Bar Association's Bench Bar Conference on March 10, 2017.  Mr. Landau will be moderating the Bankruptcy View from the Bench panel featuring several of the Southern District of Florida’s distinguished Bankruptcy Judges.  He will also be participating in a panel on post judgment execution entitled “Great, I have a judgment…now what?”.  The conference will take place beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

James T. Ferrara Appointed to Serve on the Civil Procedure Rules Committee

James T. Ferrara has been appointed by Gregory Coleman, President of the Florida Bar to serve on the Civil Procedure Rules Committee.  Mr. Ferrara was one of six attorneys selected out of four hundred applicants.  The Committee is composed of attorneys and judges with extensive experience and training in state court proceedings.  The purpose of the Committee is to consider proposals for changes to the rules of court that are applied in all lawsuits filed in Florida.  Once the Committee formulates changes to the rules, the proposed changes are considered for adoption by Florida’s Supreme Court.
